A COPE Christmas Fundraiser
An evening of wine and sweets; a divine pairing
December 4, 2024
4 – 7pm
at the Saint Marianne Museum, 601 N. Townsend St., Syracuse, NY 13203
The annual Christmas celebration and fundraiser will offer wine samples paired with decadent desserts.
All donations received will go toward supporting the Saint Marianne Cope museum and its programming.
Just as Marianne served all people, especially those in need of care, we are developing programming for caregivers that will benefit not only those receiving care but those giving it as well.
Our curriculum will not only provide desperately needed support and resources to people who care for those in need but will allow us to serve those who rely on the museum for prayers, research and tour opportunities.
Our Empathy in Action series of workshops and presentations is developed for in-home and professional caregivers. We teach communication skills, compassionate empathy and practices that enable people to take charge of their healthcare emotionally and spiritually as well as physically. We are empowering compassionate and knowledgeable caregivers and patient advocates. Just as the Sisters have done since the 1860s, we work to bring peace to patients for all phases of life’s journey. Also, a selection of wine and chocolate gift boxes are available.
Raffle tickets are available to purchase for $5 each
The raffle tickets will be available online leading up to event and in-person on the day and can be entered
for winning a gift shop gift box or a wine gift box. You do not need to be present to win.
Plus:
- Ornaments for our tree will hold your prayer request or message in honor of a loved one.
The opening tree-lighting ceremony will allow everyone in attendance to pray for your intention.
With a $10 donation, we can create these for you with your note or come into the museum after
November 12 to create your own. - Sponsorship of the Sister Leopoldina and Mother Marianne journal printing.
We will be self-publishing these historical journals enhanced with photographs, commentary and excerpts included from the National Women’s Hall of Fame, Kate and Mary Mahoney and an introduction from
Sister Mary Laurence Hanley. - Corporate and Business Sponsorships are available for wine and dessert pairing tables.
Benefits include: name or logo in marketing materials and on-site during the event.

Admission for this special event is $50
Tickets are available to purchase online or at the event. Your ticket price includes sample sipping and tasting from several wine and dessert pairing stations plus a glass of wine of your choice and snacks from a charcuterie display.
